If you've been in the market for a new Keurig machine for any length of time, you've probably been comparing features and trying to decide which model is right for you. After all, there are a lot of factors to consider—from price, to features, to capacity.
It's an important decision, because if you're like most people, you probably don't have an unlimited budget to spend testing single-serve K-Cup coffee brewers that don't end up fitting your needs.
So how do you decide which Keurig is right for you?
Let's take a quick look at three of the top Keurig machines on the market today, and see how they compare. (You can also see full reviews at the links below.)
Some of the best Keurig brewers currently on the market include:
Review: Keurig K-Elite Single Serve K-Cup Brewer - This flagship model is Keurig's latest and greatest, and features a sleek design, powerful brewing performance, and a variety of handy features like a large water reservoir and programmable settings.
Review: Keurig K-Select Single Serve K-Cup Brewer - The Keurig K-Select is a great choice for those who want a high-quality Keurig machine without all the bells and whistles. It still brews excellent coffee, but comes at a more affordable price point.
Review: Cuisinart SS-10 Single Serve K-Cup Brewer - The Cuisinart SS-10 is a premium Keurig-compatible machine that delivers great brewing results and has a number of features that set it apart from other Keurig models, like its own reusable filter and a large 72oz water reservoir.
No matter which model you choose, there are a few things you should keep in mind when reading Keurig machine reviews to ensure that you pick the right one for your needs:
Things to Look for in Keurig Machine Reviews
Do you entertain guests often (or go through a ton of K-cups)? If so, you may want a Keurig that has a larger water reservoir so it can brew multiple cups in a row without requiring you to rush to the sink or water dispenser to refill it in between.
What is your budget? Keurigs generally range in price from around $60 to $200 for home Brewers and upwards of $500 for commercial size.
Do you want to be able to use your Keurig for other purposes, like brewing with tea bags/loose leaf tea infusers or mixing hot cocoa? If so, you'll probably want to make sure the model you choose has features like a hot water dispenser and/or compatibility with Keurig's My K-Cup Universal Filter or another similar reusable K-Cup.
Do you plan to make iced coffee or other cold beverages with your Keurig? If so, you'll probably want to make sure the model you choose has an iced coffee setting. All Keurigs are technically capable of making iced coffee—since you can always just combine coffee and ice cubes—but certain models have features like a "strong" brew button or even an iced coffee setting that will make your iced coffee taste even better.
Once you've considered these factors, you should have a better idea what features are most important to you while you're comparing each of the brewers.
